Nazareth Farm Application

This Spring Break, the Newman Center is headed down to Nazareth Farm, a Catholic community in rural West Virginia that transforms lives through a service-retreat experience. Their mission is to serve alongside their neighbors to address substandard housing by providing home repair, thus building relationships between volunteers, staff (recent college grads), and their local community. To apply, please complete the questions below.

Other Important Information

Please complete this application by February 7. If possible, please include the $500 payment (checks can be made out to “St. Paul’s Newman Center”), or a $50 deposit. You will be notified by email when your application has been accepted, or if you have been placed on the waiting list.

Schedule

Sunday, March 10 (or possibly Saturday, March 9) - Meet @ SPNC for flight from DIA (precise travel times are TBD) Sunday-Saturday - Service Retreat with Nazareth Farm in Salem, West Virginia Saturday, March 17 - Return to DIA/Laramie

Cost: $500

This covers the cost of meals, lodging, and building materials, which we pay to Nazareth Farm. The Newman Center will be heavily subsidizing the trip by covering transportation costs to/from the Farm. Checks can be made payable to “St. Paul’s Newman Center.” Please submit a check for $500 with your application, or a deposit of $50. Financial assistance is available upon discussion.
